Yes. The free tier supports up to 6 habits at once, and streaks, notes and history stay fully intact on every one of them. Unlimited habits are part of the paid tier. Neither tier carries ads, an account requirement or a trial timer.
What the free tier includes
The free tier is the whole app, capped at one dimension: how many habits are active at the same time. Six at a time, with nothing switched off behind a paywall.

There is no countdown attached to any of it. The free tier does not become a paid tier after 7 days, and no feature quietly stops working when a trial period ends, because there is no trial period.
Archiving is how you free a slot
When a habit has finished its job — a course completed, a treatment ended, a season passed — archive it. The history stays exactly where it is, the active slot frees up, and you can start something new in its place. Archiving pauses a habit rather than deleting it, so the record remains part of your stats.
Do archived habits still count towards the six?
No. The limit applies to habits on your active dashboard. Archived habits keep their full streak and history but do not occupy a slot, which is why finishing one habit is usually enough to begin the next.
What the paid tier adds
One thing: unlimited habits. Streaks, freezes, notes, history, export, encryption and Health Connect behave identically on both tiers. The current price is shown in the app listing on Google Play rather than repeated on this page, because it can vary by region and by platform.
